Stress or PTSD?
Have you ever felt “stress”? Sometimes, we can't properly manage our work or life load. Therefore, we feel tense, then angry..., ending up sad-- right? Well, this is normal. We must cut ourselves some slack! We can experience these feelings for a month... ("Acute") or longer. If PTSD, you will likely experience it after a traumatic event and for much longer... feeling, basically..., angry. However, the beauty about life is that the past is gone and now we can/should/must... concentrate on "the present" (AKA: gift) and design our future. Some techniques to do are: sleep better, eat better, drink plenty of water, exercise, have fun/ hobby, and breeeathe! Having a support group composed of family and friends are a must too. Not easy... but doable! If this is not enough, there are always great therapists and medications that will help us improve our quality of life.
That is all we can do, try to be happy today and help others (e.g., our kids) do the same. Enjoy life!
