Adult ADHD?
What is ADHD? Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is better known as a mental disorder that involves, hence name, problems paying attention. This disorder tends to be the result of our genetic predisposition but also of our upbringing (nature vs. nurture). That is, if you are told that you have ADHD... probably one of you parents has it as well. Now, does it really matter? Can it be "cured"? The important thing is what we choose to do with this information. Do we sit and cry? Do we drink to drown our sorrows? Or, do we just stand up and move on? Life is too short to only reflect on the "What if?" ADHD involves having a neuro-chemical imbalance. Therefore, with proper medication or medication-like (nutrition, biofeedback, exercise, starting early, sitting in front of the class...) we can move on with our lives!
The key is to just breathe and move on! Sky is the limit!
